"Music really is a universal language, as I’ve traveled all over the world the one thing that’s always been true is the unifying and healing power of music. Lord knows we need that these days more than ever," said Patrick. "The songs on the 'Love is in the Air' CD are all very close to my heart. The big band song 'Witchcraft' was the song my irish fire fighter father used to get my mom to marry him. I’ve rocked with 'Feeling Alright' by Dave Mason in every band I’ve ever been in. Soulful Harry Chapin’s 'Taxi' also tells the story of how I first came to California only to run into my old girl friend from the east," he explained. The classic 'Mack the Knife' is the song that I’ve usually closed my cruise ship performances with. The wonderful ballad 'Into the Mystic' by Van 'the man' Morrison was the first song I ever sang with a horn section." In support of the new release Patrick will be performing in the western US over the next year.
